Helmholtz Zentrum München - National Research Center for Environment and Health
The Helmholtz Gemeinschaft (former GSF) is a National Research Center supported by the German federal government and the country’s individual state governments. Boasting approximately 26,500 employees, its research is focused on environmental factors and health, mechanisms of health and disease, infection and immunity, ecosystems and health.
As a spin-off of the GSF Institute for Inhalation Biology, INAMED focuses its research on inhalation therapy and aerosol medicine. Some of our colleagues started their professional careers at GSF. They now contribute their long-term know-how to our, and your, success. Asklepios Clinics
The Asklepios Clinic in Gauting (Munich) is one of the largest internal medicine and thoracic surgery clinics in Germany, dedicated to the study and treatment of diseases of the respiratory tract, the lungs and the chest.
Located near the Asklepios Clinics, INAMED Research has access to the clinics´ vast, specialized pool of patients from which to recruit special trial populations. Patients suffering from diseases such as COPD, fibrosis, asthma or bronchial carcinoma are treated in these clinics. In addition the clinic provides routine laboratory testing for the efficient conduct of our studies performed in our clinical unit. more...
